Jesus – my ever faithful, even-though-I-have-done-nothing-at-all-whatsoever-in-fact-may-have-done-more-things-to-not-deserve-it Savior and Prince
My dad always used to say that only boring people got bored.
I wonder if it’s true….

According to this ad, I guess a lot of people must if it’s being used at an advertising campaign.
Does that mean that there are a lot of boring people out there?
I guess we all can’t be weird and melodramatic like me!
There’s a song we sing at my church called Surrender and the first line goes “the feeling of walking around in circles is getting old” and it really is.
I feel like I make the same mistakes over and over again, come to church, sing that song, feel bad about it, and then fall back into the same cycle again. It’s is really getting old.
I think the big thing is that I am not replacing the mistakes with something else. I say that I am going to change, and then I don’t, at all. I’ve stopped making that mistake before, but only for a little while before starting it up again. I feel guilty, but don’t change. I confess, but don’t repent. I acknowledge that I did something wrong, but don’t do anything to change. I tell God I’m sorry, and like the proverbial 4 year old, I put my hand right back in the cookie jar.

So, I have decided that this blog is just going to become an online diary. I took the link to it off of my myspace page and I’m just going to treat it as a dairy, not expecting anyone really to read it. If someone stumbles upon it, great, if they enjoy what they read, all the better, but I am not going to expect it.
I am going to post another entry in a minute, but it’s on another subject, so I’ll close this.
they call it a curse
So I totally love Gilmore Girls.
“To me you are the teacher in the Charlie Brown cartoon.” – Michel
“Is there are ‘you’re crazy team’? Cause I think they’d make you captain.” – Lorelai to Rory
“I’m afraid that once your heart’s involved, it all comes out in moron.” – Lorelai
“Behold, in theatres now, the thing that reads a lot.” – Lorelai about Rory
“She’s reading again, how novel.” Tristan about Rory
“Sold to the nice young hoodlum in the back.” – Taylor about Jess at the Bid-A-Basket Festival
“Make it fast, make it snappy, and if there’s any impulse buying, make it chocolate.” – Lorelai
Yep…pretty much, I love the wit! And now I am going to go watch the episode that’s on!
Short for weblog.
- A meandering, blatantly uninteresting online diary that gives the author the illusion that people are interested in their stupid, pathetic life. Consists of such riveting entries as “homework sucks” and “I slept until noon today.”
- an online diary into which emo kids whine about their “horrible” lives.
Emo kid: My life sucks. I hate my parents. First they made me clean my room, and then they wouldn’t let me watch TV until I did my homework! I’m going to crank about them in my blog.
I’m only joking, this is just a record I don’t expect anyone to read.
Happy Fourth everyone! Here is my first blog on WordPress, and hopefully it will be a good one.
Basically, it hit me today, that we really need to be thankful for the country that we live in. We need to be thankful because it is a place where we can worship God without fearing for our lives (though sometimes I think that might be hard to remember we war against unseen forces, and that it’s not just our physical bodies in danger…hmmm…maybe I’ll write another blog on that later). It is a place that has freedom, and it is a wonderful thing.
We also need to be thankful for the men and women who have fought for this county’s freedom over the years. A lot of people have been protesting the war and President Bush, and I just want to say that, as unfortunate as it is, without war, you would not have the freedom to dis the leader of our country. President Bush is doing what he believes to be best for the country and the world -I’d like to see what would happen if we let all these people who hate on Bush into office and see what would happen if they had to deal with the same things.
Well, now I am off to bed, seeing as it’s late again, and I have work in the morning!
God bless America, my home sweet home.
